Atelier Samuel Beckett
Artists of all disciplines can apply to stay at Atelier Samuel Beckett. It can accommodate two individual artists in its two bedrooms each with own bathroom. All resident artists have use of the Samuel Beckett Library, housing over 300 books, cds and dvds by, about or inspired by Samuel Beckett.
Artists have the option to share the house with another artist or to rent the entire house.
Funded Residencies.
When possible we announce open calls for residencies funded by donors, sponsors or partnering bodies. Follow us on Instagram to stay aware.
Rates for paid residencies.
A non-refundable deposit of 10% to be paid at time of booking. Full payment due within 14 days of arrival.
We can provide a letter of invitation to help with grant funding.
One Artist sharing.
Accommodation only - 1050 per week.
3000 for 3 weeks.
Double above costs for 2 collaborating artists or for one artist wishing to take the entire house.

We ask that the following be considered when applying.
Where.
Mericourt is a very small village approx 60Km northwest of Paris in France.
There are no retail outlets, stores, cafes, etc in the village.
The nearest supermarket is about 2Km away in the village of Freneuse.
The nearest train (SNCF) is about 3Km away in the town of Bonnieres sur Seine. There is a limited bus service.
Uber and local taxis are available.
The house is equipped with high speed internet and wifi.
The kitchen is fully equipped.
The residency can provide two bicycles. There is free car parking.
The nearest neighbours are about 50 metres away.

Atelier Samuel Beckett welcomes artists of all disciplines looking for space and quiet with a library dedicated to Samuel Beckett.
What
Shared self-catering accommodation (unless you opt to take the entire house as in Rates above). Workspace in your room or in the Beckett Library.
Sharing.
We encourage artists sharing the house to dine together when possible in a spirit of exchange.
